Having grown up in the Canary Islands, Austria, Germany and the U.S., I'm accustomed to living in, though between, cultures. It's been a fascinating perspective, one that permeates my work.
I also edit and coach other writers, which is not only rewarding but inspiring. Their success is my reward!
When I'm not writing or caring for my creative and wonderful family, I'm a Producer, Director, Casting Director, and some other film-stuff-hats I tend to wear.
On writing...
I write mostly literary fiction, some contemporary, screenplays and plays. I write about the interaction between people: that usually forms the plot. If I'm intrigued and excited about a story, others will be too - and my beta readers support this. I write about characters in unique situations which lead to a mulitude of themes, subtexts, places in the world, unexpected scenarios, and, yes, even THAT - that which you didn't want to have happen but must...
